so the other day, i gave izzy mac n cheese for lunch. a few hours later we decided to go for a family hike. isabelle insisted on bringing her purse and so tim looked inside and she had put her mac n cheese and raisins in her purse and was just walking around eating it. so on our trek into the woods she found an old dirty pot full of old dirty rusty water and she poured her purse contents, and some rocks into it, stirred and then sat down and started eating out of it. ( i told you she was disgusting!) any ways so i poured it out and today she was telling me that she needed to go outside to get her mac n cheese. she does not forget anything!
So funny b/c she's such an adorable, tiny little thing. She looks like she could be prissy and insist on wearing pink dresses every day. But hey, maybe she's catching on to the idea that you can't hike for long without eating---trail mix is probably better than mac and cheese, though, definitely better than rocks and dirt.
